Look, I get it... we're in a heatwave in Austin, with seven sweltering days of over 100-degree weather, but mi love fashion never stops. As trends and seasons change faster and faster, there seems to be a call for inspiration. Here are my three fall trend inspirations:

1. Suede - I know, right... shocker. But this time, I think it will come more dynamically by using different shades and adding fun touches like embossing or studs. It can come in all forms too—boots, jackets, mini skirts, and I bet something different this year (maybe hats?). Thanks to Miss Hannah Chody (I'll link her video here), I saw the Khaite chocolate brown suede mini skirt and jacket set, and dang, it looked delicious.

2. Funky Heels - This summer was all about the espadrille wedge and the strappy kitten heel, but I think winter will continue to embrace the corporate girl trend (lol, yassifying the corporate world is crazy). Funky Mary Janes or even a fun mesh peep toe could spice up your fall outfit and give it a more dynamic look.

3. Crochet/Woven Materials - When we think of woven or crochet, it's usually associated with a summer cover-up or your grandma's kitchen table, but let's flip and reverse it. I was amazed when I saw the Welira Wool Trousers. The color, pattern, and details were fascinating. The trousers look heavy—in a good way—like a weighted blanket, and seem to sit perfectly on the model. Paired with an oversized coat and a cool pair of kitten heels, you'd be set. Just wear an extra layer underneath or on top, and you'll be good.

Ok, love you
